Today, NASCAR is also working with the National Science Foundation. They have built a set of online videos that helps improve student’s ability to learn science. "The Science of Speed" is for students in grades eight to grade 12. The whole point of the videos is to teach the children more about friction and heat, which are things that take place within NASCAR racing.
