Jimmie Johnson and his crew started out the 2006 season with a bang by winning the Daytona 500. His wins in 2006 kept piling up, and he managed to achieve a Career Grand Slam after coming in first at Aaron's 499 in Talladega. He finished the season off first place in points, garnering his first Sprint Cup championship. But, Johnson was not done there. He raced exceptionally in both the 2007 and 2008 seasons, winning the Sprint Cup Series a total of three times in a row.

As of July 21, 2009, Johnson has won two races in the 2009 season and is still high up in the point rankings at third. He still has a chance to win a historic fourth NASCAR championship in a row.
